3 BHK Box Office Collection Day 4: Siddharth And Sarath Kumar's Film Holds Steady After Weekend Boost

3BHK Box Office Collection: The Tamil film 3 BHK, headlined by Siddharth and R. Sarathkumar, has completed its four-day run in theaters with a reported India net collection of ₹5.78 crore, according to estimates from box office tracking portal Sacnilk. The film, which released on July 4, started its theatrical journey with a modest opening and gained momentum over the weekend before experiencing a noticeable dip on Monday.
Directed by Sri Ganesh and produced by Arun Viswa under Shanti Talkies, 3BHK is based on Aravindh Sachidanandam's short story of the same name. It marks Siddharth's 40th film and brings together Sarathkumar and Devayani after two decades, alongside Meetha Raghunath, Chaithra J. Achar, and Yogi Babu in key roles.
On its opening day (Friday), the film collected ₹1.15 crore, with ₹1 crore from the Tamil version and ₹0.15 crore from the Telugu-dubbed release. Saturday saw a significant jump in collections, bringing in ₹1.9 crore, followed by ₹2.15 crore on Sunday. However, collections saw a steep drop on Monday, with only ₹0.58 crore reported (₹0.46 crore in Tamil and ₹0.12 crore in Telugu), reflecting the typical post-weekend slowdown.
Weekday Challenge Ahead For 3BHK
Despite a favorable reception from critics, 3BHK now faces the test of sustaining its performance through the weekdays. The film's Monday earnings saw a drop of over 70% compared to Sunday, a common trend for many theatrical releases, though it puts pressure on the coming days to maintain momentum.
3BHK follows the story of Prabhu (played by Siddharth) and his middle-class family's dream of owning a home in the city. It traces their emotional and financial struggles through setbacks, familial bonds, and hopes for a better future. R. Sarathkumar plays Prabhu's father, Vasudevan, while Devayani appears as his mother, Shanthi.
The technical team includes cinematographers Dinesh Krishnan B and Jithin Stanislaus, editor Ganesh Siva, and music composer Amrit Ramnath. The film's audio is released under Think Music.
With weekday box office trends to watch closely, all eyes are now on whether 3BHK can retain enough footfall before the next wave of new releases arrives.
