Accused Early Review: Renowned actor Udhaya is all over the headlines as he is coming with the much talked about release Accused. Directed by Prabhu Srinivas, Accused is said to be a prison drama which features Udhaya, Yogi Babu, Ajmal Ameer and Jhanvika Kalakeri in the lead. Interestingly, Accused is quite special for Udhaya who is celebrating his 25th year in the industry. Needless to say the movie has managed to create a lot of buzz in the town owing to its stellar cast.

To note, Accused is said to be set against an intense and gritty backdrop and delves into an intriguing case where an innocent person is pronounced guilty and changes their life. And as Accused is set to release on August 1, here's the early review of the movie.

In a viral tweet shared by renowned critic Ramesh Bala microblogging site Twitter, Accused is a movie about crime and redemption. He tweeted, "An accused on the way to the court gets attacked.. The reason is told in an interesting and entertaining fashion.. Lot of twists and turns near the climax.." Ramesh Bala gave the movie a rating of 3.25 stars and wrote, "@ACTOR_UDHAYAA in the title role has given fantastic performance.. @actor_ajmal has a very good role as Cop and has done well..@iyogiBabu provides the comic relief.. #Jahnvikakalakeri is good.. Sharp cuts by @cinemainmygenes. Director @prabhucheenu has kept enough entertaining elements".

Meanwhile, talking about the movie, Udhaya told IANS, "There is an important action sequence in the film in which the bus turns turtle. We approached bus owners to hire their vehicle for the sequence. However, they refused to rent it out after we told them that the bus had to be toppled. Eventually, the producers of the film, unwilling to compromise on the intensity of the action sequence, chose to buy a brand new bus just for the sequence".
