Aghathiyaa OTT Release: Following its theatrical release on February 28, 2025, the Tamil historical horror film Aghathiyaa is now set for its digital premiere. Written and directed by Pa. Vijay, the film stars Jiiva in a dual role alongside Arjun Sarja and Raashii Khanna, with a supporting cast that includes Edward Sonnenblick, Matylda, Redin Kingsley, Shah Ra, Senthil, Radha Ravi, Rohini, Charle, and Indraja Shankar.

Produced by Ishari K. Ganesh under Vels Film International and co-produced by Aneesh Arjun Dev under Wam India, Aghathiyaa features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Deepak Kumar Padhy, and editing by San Lokesh.

Initially announced in 2020, the project faced multiple hurdles, leading to its shelving by the original production house. However, in 2023, Vels Film International revived the film, bringing it back on track. Following a prolonged delay of four years, Aghathiyaa was finally released theatrically on February 28, 2025.

After completing its theatrical run, Aghathiyaa is now set for its digital premiere on Tentkotta. The OTT platform has officially announced the film's streaming release, confirming that it will be available this week. However, the exact date of its OTT debut is yet to be revealed, keeping fans eager for further updates.

Aghathiyaa Synopsis

Aghathiyan, a struggling art director, repurposes an abandoned French bungalow into a haunted house, only to uncover a dark history tied to colonial-era betrayals, hidden medicinal formulas, and vengeful spirits. As supernatural forces rise, he must unlock ancient secrets to battle evil and save his mother, leading to a gripping showdown between past and present.
