Coolie Audio Launch Buzz: With the release of Coolie just over a month away, speculation is intensifying around a possible audio launch event for the film. According to a recent post by industry tracker Christopher Kanagaraj on X (formerly Twitter), buzz suggests that the event may be held on July 27 at Chennai's Nehru Stadium. While this has sparked discussions among fans and film circles, there has been no official confirmation from the makers so far.

Starring Rajinikanth in the lead role as Deva, Coolie marks the veteran actor's 171st film as a lead and brings together an ensemble cast that includes Nagarjuna (as Simon), Upendra (Kaleesha), Soubin Shahir (Dayal), Sathyaraj (Rajasekar), and Shruti Haasan (Preethi). Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, Monisha Blessy, and Kaali Venkat also feature in key roles, while Pooja Hegde and Aamir Khan are expected to make cameo appearances.

Sun Pictures officially introduced the project in September 2023, with Kalanithi Maran producing it under the working title Thalaivar 171. Its official title, Coolie, was unveiled in April 2024. Filming began in July 2024 in Chennai and continued across locations such as Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Jaipur, and Bangkok. The shoot was completed by March 2025.

Music Hype Builds as Fans Await Confirmation on Coolie Audio Launch

Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the film, continuing his collaboration with both Lokesh Kanagaraj and Rajinikanth. The first single, "Chikitu," was released on June 25, 2025, following earlier teasers titled "Chikitu Vibe" and "Powerhouse Vibe." The teaser trailer released in April prominently featured the track "Coolie Disco," which includes a musical sample from the 1983 Rajinikanth-starrer Thanga Magan, specifically drawing from the song "Vaa Vaa Pakkam Vaa."

The Coolie audio launch is expected to be a significant promotional milestone for the film, which is slated for worldwide release on August 14, 2025. The event could also offer further insight into the soundtrack penned by Lokesh Kanagaraj's assistant Vishnu Edavan and build momentum in the lead-up to the film's theatrical debut in both standard and IMAX formats.

Until there is a formal announcement, the July 27 audio launch remains speculative. However, with anticipation for Coolie running high, any update from the production team is likely to draw significant attention in the weeks ahead.
