Coolie Third Single Release: The third single from the highly anticipated Tamil action thriller Coolie, titled Power House, is all set to be unveiled today, July 22, 2025, with a launch event in Hyderabad. The update was officially announced by the production house, Sun Pictures, through its social media channels, confirming the release of the song and teasing fans with the line: "Arangam Adhirattume.. Whistle Parakkatume..."

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures, Coolie stars Rajinikanth in the lead role. The film, which marks Rajinikanth's 171st outing as a lead actor, is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on August 14, 2025. The soundtrack has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who continues his collaboration with both the director and the lead actor.

Third Single 'Power House' Set to Boost Coolie's Pre-Release Buzz

The upcoming track Power House follows the previously released singles Chikitu and Monica. The second single, Monica, featuring a special appearance by Pooja Hegde, gained considerable traction online, with the song's hook step going viral across social media platforms.

Power House, teased earlier as "Powerhouse Vibe," is expected to continue the film's musical momentum as it nears its release. The lyrics have been penned by Vishnu Edavan, a frequent collaborator of Lokesh Kanagaraj. Today's song launch event in Hyderabad will feature Anirudh Ravichander.

Coolie features a star-studded ensemble including Nagarjuna (as Simon), Upendra (as Kaleesha), Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John, and others. Notably, the film also includes cameo appearances by Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde. Rajinikanth plays the role of Deva, while the narrative is expected to be steeped in action, with nods to the superstar's earlier portrayals of working-class characters.

Filming began in July 2024 and wrapped in March 2025, with shooting taking place across multiple locations, including Chennai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Jaipur, and Bangkok. A teaser released in April 2024, which featured the track Coolie Disco, offered a stylized glimpse into the film and triggered considerable fan excitement.

The launch of Power House is likely to add further visibility to the project in the final weeks before its release. With just over three weeks to go, the makers are ramping up promotional efforts, positioning Coolie as one of the key Tamil releases of the year.
