We are talking about Devil's Double Next Level which is a horror comedy and Maaman which is an action drama. This brought Santhanam locking horns with Soori at the box office and it has indeed been a treat for the audience. Ever since both the movies have released on May 16, they have opened to decent reviews from the audience and facing constant comparisons

For the uninitiated, Devil's Double Next Level aka DD Next Level is directed by S Prem Anand and features Santhanam along with Geethika Tiwary, Selvaraghavan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Nizhalgal Ravi, Rajendran, Kasthuri, Redin Kingsley, and Yashika Anand in key roles. On the other hand, Maaman is helmed by Prasanth Pandiyaraj and features Soori along with Aishwarya Lekshmi, Rajkiran, Swasika and Bala Saravanan, Baba Bhaskar, Viji Chandrasekhar, Nikhila Sankar and Geetha Kailasam

According to a tweet shared by Cinetrak, Devil's Double Next Level saw a minimal growth in collections on day 2 in Tamil Nadu and minted Rs 2.59 crores. On the other hand, Maaman saw a hike of 33% in numbers in Tamil Nadu and earned Rs 2.04 crores. It is evident that while Maaman is picking up pace in Tamil Nadu, Devil's Double Next Level is still leading at the box office.

Devil's Double Next Level vs Maaman Box Office Collection Day 3 Report

Meanwhile, Maaman is currently leading the box office numbers on day 3 (first Sunday). According to a report published in Sacnilk, while Devil's Double Next Level has earned Rs 1.26 crores today as on 3:30PM, the numbers happen to be Rs 1.55 crores for Maaman.

It will be interesting to see if Maaman can take over Devil's Double Next Level at the box office in the coming days.
