Devil's Double Next Level OTT Release: The Tamil horror-comedy Devil's Double Next Level, which hit theaters on May 16, 2025, is now set for its digital premiere. ZEE5 has confirmed that the film will begin streaming on its platform from June 13, offering audiences a chance to catch the fourth installment in the Dhilluku Dhuddu series from home.

Written and directed by S. Prem Anand, Devil's Double Next Level features actor-comedian Santhanam in the lead, alongside Geethika Tiwary, Selvaraghavan, and Gautham Vasudev Menon. The movie is produced under the banners of The Show People and Niharika Entertainment, with actor Arya presenting the film.

A Critic Trapped Inside a Haunted Film

At the center of the story is Krishnamoorthy, also known as "Kissa," a no-nonsense YouTube film critic known for his unapologetic reviews. His life takes a surreal turn after he receives an invitation from an enigmatic filmmaker, Hitchcock Iruthyaraj, to attend a private screening of a film titled DD Next Level. Assuming it to be another publicity stunt, Kissa agrees to attend.

However, what begins as a routine screening soon turns into an unexpected nightmare. Kissa, along with other guests, including rival reviewers and his own family, ends up trapped inside the world of the film itself-now set aboard a haunted cruise ship. The passengers have no memory of each other, and the only way out appears to be surviving until the film's end credits.

With horror elements layered over comedic beats, the film weaves in a satirical take on Tamil cinema tropes and the film criticism space, as Kissa struggles to navigate the absurd rules of a horror movie that is aware of itself.

Joining the cast are Nizhalgal Ravi, Kasthuri, Redin Kingsley, Yashika Anand, Motta Rajendran, and Maran in supporting roles. Technical credits include cinematography by Dipak Kumar Padhy, editing by Barath Vikraman, and music by ofRO. The film's sound and visual effects were handled by Sync Cinema and Lorven Studios, respectively.

ZEE5, announcing the OTT release via social media, teased viewers with the tagline: "This ain't a horror movie. It's a horror movie inside a horror movie." The digital release is expected to expand the reach of Devil's Double Next Level beyond its theatrical audience.
