DNA Early Review: Premiere Reactions Suggest A Promising Start For Atharvaa And Nimisha Sajayan's Film

DNA Early Review Premiere Gets Positive Buzz

DNA Early Review: The upcoming Tamil action thriller DNA, directed by Nelson Venkatesan, had its premiere screening in India on June 18, ahead of its theatrical release scheduled for June 20. The film brings together actor Atharvaa and Malayalam actress Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles for the first time.

DNA marks the fourth directorial outing for Nelson Venkatesan, who previously helmed Oru Naal Koothu (2016), Monster (2019), and Farhana (2023). Co-written by Athisha Vino, the film explores themes reportedly centered on infant trafficking and emotional family dynamics, with the narrative revolving around a husband-wife duo and their struggle linked to a mother-baby relationship.

Following the premiere, industry tracker Ramesh Bala shared initial impressions on social media, describing DNA as a mix of thriller elements and emotional drama. While not a comprehensive review, his post alluded to the film's thematic focus on infant trafficking and praised the performances and background score.
