DNA OTT Release Date: After completing its theatrical run, DNA, the Tamil action thriller starring Atharvaa and Nimisha Sajayan, is now set for its digital premiere. The film will begin streaming on JioHotstar starting July 19, as confirmed by the platform through an official announcement on social media.

Directed by Nelson Venkatesan, DNA was released in cinemas across India on June 20, 2025, following a premiere on June 18. The film has been produced under the Olympia Movies banner by Jayanthi Ambedkar, with co-producers Sanjay Shanmugam and Bharath Raj. The screenplay was jointly developed by director Nelson Venkatesan and co-writer Athisha Vino.

At the core of DNA is a missing infant case that sets off a chain of investigations spanning nearly a decade. The story begins when a couple suspects their newborn has been swapped at a hospital. As they search for answers, they're joined by a retiring police officer and a close friend. What unfolds is a series of revelations that connect past secrets with present consequences, touching upon institutional failures and moral dilemmas within the healthcare system.

The cast includes a wide ensemble of supporting actors such as Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Balaji Sakthivel, Ramesh Thilak, Viji Chandrasekhar, Chetan, Riythvika, Subramaniam Siva, Karunakaran, and Pasanga Sivakumar. The film's technical crew features Parthiban D.F.T as the director of photography and Sabu Joseph VJ as the editor. Art direction is by Siva Shankar, and stunts are choreographed by Don Ashok.

DNA features a diverse music team: the background score is composed by Ghibran Vaibodha, while individual tracks are composed by Sathyaprakash, Sreekanth Hariharan, Pravin Saivi, Sahi Siva, and Anal Akash. Lyrics are written by Karthik Netha, Uma Devi, Muthamil, and Sahi Siva. Think Music holds the film's audio rights.
