Dragon Collection Day 5 (Early Updates): Pradeep Ranganathan Comedy Drama Inches Closer To 40Cr; Smashes NEEK

Dragon Box Office Collection Day 5 Early Updates: The latest Tamil-language coming-of-age comedy-drama 'Dragon' has been having an impressive run at the box office. Ever since its release on 21st February 2025, the Ashwath Marimuthu directorial has been making waves at the box office. Amid strong pre-release buzz, the movie opened to positive response from audiences and critics alike. Despite dip in numbers on working days, the movie has managed to smash Dhanush-directed Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) at ticket counters.

Dragon Box Office Collection Day 4 (1st Monday)

Starring Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead alongside Anupama Parameswaran, Dragon recorded a stellar opening weekend at the box office. As per Sacnilk, the movie minted around Rs 6.5 cr (Tamil - 5.4 cr; Telugu - 1.1 cr) on the day of its release. Due to the positive word-of-mouth, the movie crossed Rs 30 cr after its first weekend.

Pradeep's film witnessed a sharp drop in numbers by 55.29% on Monday (yesterday) and raked in Rs 5.7 cr approx., taking the overall nett collection to Rs 35.75 cr in 4 days.

Dragon Box Office Collection Today Early Trend

According to the latest Sacnilk update, Dragon has been maintaining its hold at ticket counters today (first Tuesday, Feb 25). As per the trade tracking website, the movie has managed to score around Rs 3.58 cr till 9:30 PM. As of now, the total collection stands at Rs 39.33 cr. Given the current trend, the comedy-drama is likely to cross the 40 cr-mark today itself.

Afternoon Occupancy - 31.56%

Evening Occupancy - 30.17%

Dragon Vs NEEK Collection Today (Early Update)

Despite the strong buzz, Dhanush's NEEK is struggling at the box office, getting completely thrashed by Dragon. As per Sacnilk, the romantic drama has managed to earn around Rs 5.33 cr (Tamil release) today till 9:30 PM. On first Tuesday (Feb 25), NEEK has managed to add around Rs 26 lakhs only.
