Dragon Now Streaming On OTT: Dragon, the Tamil coming-of-age comedy-drama directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, is now available for digital streaming on Netflix starting March 21, 2025. Following its theatrical success, the film generated significant buzz, and its much-anticipated digital release is now here.

Written and directed by Marimuthu, Dragon stars Pradeep Ranganathan and Kayadu Lohar in the lead roles, with an ensemble cast that includes Anupama Parameswaran, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, K. S. Ravikumar, and George Maryan. Produced by AGS Entertainment, the film's principal photography took place in Chennai and was completed by October 2024.

With a musical score by Leon James and cinematography by Niketh Bommireddy, Dragon received positive reviews during its theatrical release in February 2025, quickly emerging as a blockbuster. Now, movie enthusiasts can enjoy Dragon from the comfort of their homes as it streams on Netflix.

Dragon Storyline

In 2014, top student D. Ragavan's life takes an unexpected turn when his crush rejects him, transforming him into "Dragon," a rebellious student with declining grades. Deceiving his parents, he secures a fake job and rises through the corporate ranks. However, guilt and a series of life-changing events compel him to seek redemption. As he confronts the consequences of his actions, Dragon embarks on a journey toward self-discovery and a fresh start.

Dragon Cast

Dragon stars Pradeep Ranganathan as D. Ragavan, also known as "Dragon," with Anupama Parameswaran as Keerthi and Kayadu Lohar as Pallavi Parasuram.

The cast includes Mysskin as S. Mayilvahanan, Gautham Vasudev Menon as Vale Kumar, K. S. Ravikumar as Parasuram, and George Maryan as Dhanapal. Indumathy Manikandan portrays Chitra Dhanapal, with VJ Siddhu, Harshath Khan, P. L. Thenappan, Fatman Ravinder, and Apollo Ravi in supporting roles. Joe Michael Praveen, Whatsapp Mani, Ramesh Narayanan, Lakshman Tekumudi, Rohith Muralidharan, and Sujatha Babu are also part of the ensemble. Aruljothi plays the role of a co-worker with a crush on Ragavan.

The film features cameo appearances by Ivana as Harini Mayilvahanan, Sneha as a doctor, and Ashwath Marimuthu as Gowtham. Sandy Master, Anveshi Jain, Bjorn Surrao, Gopika Ramesh, and Deepa Shankar also make special appearances.

The film features music composed by Leon James, cinematography by Niketh Bommi, and editing by Pradeep E Ragav. V. Selva Kumar was the production designer, while action sequences were choreographed by Vicky and Dilip Subbarayan. JD handled choreography, and costume design was by Dinesh Manoharan and Praveen Raja. The screenplay and dialogues were written by Ashwath Marimuthu, with the story credited to both Marimuthu and Pradeep Ranganathan. The film's sound mix was done by M.R.
