Dragon (Tamil) Celebrity Review: Tamil cinema is gearing up for the release of Dragon, a coming-of-age comedy-drama directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. Backed by AGS Entertainment, the film features Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role, alongside Anupama Parameswaran and Kayadu Lohar. With a strong supporting cast that includes George Maryan, Indumathy Manikandan, K. S. Ravikumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, VJ Siddhu, and Harshath Khan, Dragon is set to hit theaters worldwide on February 21, 2025.
With just a few hours left for its release, a post by Tamil star Silambarasan on X (formerly Twitter) is grabbing attention. In his post, he wrote, 'Dragon - BLOCKBUSTER 🐉🔥(sic),' sparking excitement among fans. Silambarasan's endorsement has only heightened the buzz surrounding the film, with audiences eagerly waiting to see if Dragon will live up to expectations.
Dragon Premise
Following a heartbreaking breakup, troubled student Ragavan drops out of school and ventures into the risky realm of financial fraud, chasing wealth and power while sinking deeper into a web of deceit.
Dragon Cast And Crew
Dragon boasts a star-studded cast, featuring Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role alongside KS Ravi Kumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, VJ Siddhu, Harshath Khan, Anupama Parameswaran, and Kayadu Lohar. The ensemble also includes Mariam George, Indumathy Manikandan, Thenappan, and others.
Dragon is written and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu under the banner of AGS Entertainment (P) Ltd. The film is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh, with Archana Kalpathi serving as the creative producer and Aishwarya Kalpathi as the associate creative producer. Executive producer S.M. Venkat Manickam oversees the production, while Leon James has composed the music.
The film's cinematography is handled by Niketh Bommi, with editing by Pradeep E Ragav and production design by V. Selva Kumar. Vicky and Dilip Subbarayan have choreographed the action sequences, while JD has worked on the dance choreography.
