Dragon Box Office Collection: Dragon is a Tamil coming-of-age comedy-drama written and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. Backed by AGS Entertainment, the film stars Pradeep in the lead role, alongside Anupama Parameswaran and Kayadu Lohar. It also boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including George Maryan, Indumathy Manikandan, K. S. Ravikumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, VJ Siddhu, and Harshath Khan. The film premiered in theaters worldwide on February 21, 2025.
Dragon is off to a roaring start at the Tamil Nadu box office. According to film industry tracker LetsCinema, the film opened to ₹6 crore on Day 1, followed by a strong surge on Day 2, collecting ₹8.75 crore. Adding to the momentum, industry tracker South Indian Box Office reports that Sunday is witnessing a massive turnout, with expectations of the film raking in ₹10 crore for the day. With these impressive numbers, Dragon is emerging as a major success, solidifying Pradeep's arrival as a promising new star.

Ragavan, a carefree young man struggling with academics, turns to fraud in his relentless pursuit of wealth and power after a heartbreaking breakup. However, as his deceit escalates, he finds himself in deep trouble. Will he manage to escape the repercussions, or is he bound to face his inevitable downfall?
Dragon Cast and Crew
Dragon features an ensemble cast led by Pradeep Ranganathan, along with veteran actors K. S. Ravikumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mysskin. The film also stars VJ Siddhu, Harshath Khan, Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, Mariam George, Indhumathy Manigandan, Thenappan, and others. With such a diverse lineup, the film brings together a mix of seasoned performers and fresh talent, adding to its appeal.
Dragon, written and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, was produced under the banner of AGS Entertainment by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, and Kalpathi S. Suresh. Archana Kalpathi served as the creative producer, with Aishwarya Kalpathi as the associate creative producer and S.M. Venkat Manickam as the executive producer. The film features music by Leon James, cinematography by Niketh Bommi, and editing by Pradeep E. Ragav. Production design was handled by V. Selva Kumar, while action sequences were choreographed by Vicky & Dilip Subbarayan. The film's screenplay and dialogues were written by Ashwath Marimuthu, with the story credited to Ashwath Marimuthu and Pradeep Ranganathan. Costume designers Dinesh Manoharan and Praveen Raja crafted the looks for the characters, while sound mixing was done by M.R. Rajakrishnan, and sound design was handled by Sync Cinema.
The film's co-director was Ramesh Narayanan, with Vignesh Ravi as the chief associate director. Associate directors included Meenakshi Sundar, Ajay Gurunathan, and Vichu, while assistant directors Prabhu Devan, Gowtham V, and Chanakkiyan R contributed to the project.
