According to film industry tracker AB George, Dragon has surpassed ₹50 crore in gross collections at the Tamil Nadu box office. With this milestone, actor Pradeep Ranganathan has achieved a rare feat-both his films, Love Today and Dragon, have crossed the ₹50 crore mark in their home territory. This remarkable box office success cements Pradeep's status as a rising star in Tamil cinema, marking a blockbuster start to his acting career.
Dragon Premise
Once a brilliant student, Ragavan's heartbreak turns him into the rebellious "Dragon," resulting in 48 arrears in college. Determined to turn his life around, he forges a degree and secures a high-paying job, only for his past to resurface. As he struggles to clear his backlogs, Dragon navigates a path of deception, redemption, and life-altering decisions, ultimately discovering his true self.

Pradeep Ranganathan leads Dragon, supported by an impressive ensemble cast, including KS Ravi Kumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, VJ Siddhu, Harshath Khan, Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, Mariam George, Indhumathy Manigandan, Thenappan, and more.
Directed and written by Ashwath Marimuthu, the film is produced by AGS Entertainment, with Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, and Kalpathi S. Suresh as producers. Archana Kalpathi serves as the creative producer, while Aishwarya Kalpathi takes on the role of associate creative producer. The music is composed by Leon James, with cinematography by Niketh Bommi and editing by Pradeep E. Ragav. Production design is handled by V. Selva Kumar, with action choreography by Vicky & Dilip Subbarayan and dance choreography by JD. The story is co-written by Ashwath Marimuthu and Pradeep Ranganathan, with Ashwath also penning the screenplay and dialogues.
