Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, Ramesh Bala wrote, "A good investigation thriller with an unpredictable twist in the climax! Racy screenplay. @Naveenc212 as the lead has done well.. Competent supporting cast - @actressReyaa @abhiramiact @Riythvika @ActorDileepan @actorshashank @immancomposer BGM is very apt for the thriller.. Technically solid! Writer/Director @lokeshajls gets both the thrills and emotions in the right way!". He even gave the movie 3.25 stars out of 5.
Meanwhile, Naveen spoke about his fascination of this genre and told Filmfare, "Thrillers always challenge the audiences, and decode the narrative. The genre film makes for great engagement levels and stays on the edge-of-the-seat. While the audience tries to decode the plot, our narrative takes them into a different world. The title itself conveys the story. I am confident that my role as a cop will strike the chord."
