Gangers Now On OTT: The Tamil action-comedy Gangers, featuring the return of Sundar C and Vadivelu as an onscreen duo after more than a decade, has made its digital debut. The film, which opened in cinemas on April 24, 2025, is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The OTT release, which began today, also includes dubbed versions in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

About Gangers

Written and directed by Sundar C, Gangers blends action and comedy with mystery and crime elements, tracing the chaos that unfolds in a seemingly quiet town after the disappearance of a schoolgirl. The storyline begins with Sujitha, a school teacher (played by Catherine Tresa), reporting the missing student, prompting an undercover investigation. Simultaneously, two physical education teachers-Singaram (Vadivelu) and Saravanan (Sundar C)-become embroiled in a personal rivalry at the same school.

As the investigation progresses, the plot shifts toward a heist involving a stash of money hidden by three influential gangsters. The ensemble cast includes Vani Bhojan as Madhavi, Bagavathi Perumal as Nadimuthu, and Hareesh Peradi as Mudiyarasan, among others. Notably, actor Vimal appears in a cameo role as the "original" Saravanan.

This marks the third collaboration between Sundar C and Catherine Tresa, while the reunion with Vadivelu comes 15 years after their last outing together. Produced under the banners of Avni Cinemax and Benzz Media (P) Ltd, the film was co-produced by N. Manivannan. The screenplay and dialogues were penned by Venkatt Raghavan.

C. Sathya composed the film's soundtrack and background score. Cinematography was handled by E. Krishnasamy, and editing duties were undertaken by Praveen Antony. Other members of the crew include art director Gururaj, stunt coordinator Rajasekar, and choreographers Brinda and Deena. The film's lyrics were written by multiple contributors, including Pa Vijay, Arunbarathi, and Super Subu, with music rights held by Saregama India Limited.
