Good Bad Ugly Box Office Collection: Good Bad Ugly, a Tamil action-comedy led by Ajith Kumar, hit theaters on April 10, 2025. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film marks the Tamil debut of Mythri Movie Makers, a renowned production house primarily known for its Telugu films. Initially announced in late 2023 under the working title "AK63," referencing Ajith's 63rd lead role, the official title, Good Bad Ugly, was revealed in March 2024.

Principal photography for Good Bad Ugly began in May 2024, with the majority of filming taking place in Hyderabad and some key sequences shot in Spain. The production wrapped up by early December. The film was released in both standard and EPIQ formats across India and overseas markets.

As Good Bad Ugly continues its theatrical run, the film's box office performance has sparked discussion among trade trackers and fans alike. According to a recent post by industry tracker Kollywood Updates, the question now is whether the Ajith Kumar-starrer will join the elite list of ₹200 Cr+ grossers in Tamil Nadu, which currently includes Leo (₹231.50 Cr), Ponniyin Selvan 1 (₹222 Cr), and The Greatest of All Time (₹219.50 Cr). Backed by data from box office tracker Sacnilk, Good Bad Ugly has delivered strong numbers in its first week, collecting an estimated ₹113.43 Cr India net by Day 7, with the majority of revenue coming from its Tamil version. On April 15, production house Mythri Movie Makers officially announced that the film had crossed the ₹100 Cr gross mark in Tamil Nadu. While the pace has slowed since its record-breaking opening, all eyes are now on its second weekend performance to see if it can maintain momentum and break into the coveted ₹200 Cr club.

Good Bad Ugly Storyline

In 2008, a feared Mumbai crime boss surrenders in hopes of reuniting with his family. Seventeen years later, his quest for redemption takes a dark turn when his son is arrested abroad under mysterious circumstances. As buried secrets and dangerous enemies resurface, he must confront his violent past to protect the only people he truly cares about.

Good Bad Ugly features Ajith Kumar in the lead role as AK, alongside Trisha Krishnan, who plays his wife, Ramya. Arjun Das takes on dual roles as Johnny and Jammy. The film's ensemble cast also includes Sunil, Prasanna, Prabhu, Jackie Shroff, Shine Tom Chacko, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Tinnu Anand, Usha Uthup, Priya Prakash Varrier, B.S. Avinash, Darkkey Nagaraja, Karthikeya Dev, Sayaji Shinde, Raghu Ram, Pradeep Kabra, Rahul Dev, Ajith Nambiar, and Harry Josh. Additionally, the film features animated cameos by Ma Dong-seok, Keanu Reeves, and Álvaro Morte, along with a special cameo by Simran.

The technical team behind Good Bad Ugly was headed by producers Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, with Cherry serving as the CEO and Dinesh Narasimhan as the chief executive producer. Written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film's music was composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, and its cinematography was handled by Abinandhan Ramanujam. Editing was done by Vijay Velukutty, while G.M. Sekhar was responsible for the production design. The action sequences were choreographed by Supreme Sundar and Kaloian Vodenicharov.

The public relations for the film were managed by Suresh Chandra and Vamsi Shekar (for the Telugu version), with marketing campaigns led by First Show and D'one (Tamil). Sound design was overseen by Suren, while still photography was handled by G. Anand Kumar. Publicity materials were created by ADFX Studio, and the music supervisor was Jehovahson Alghar. The visual effects were managed by Narendra Logisa, with DI work completed at Annapurna Studios.
