Good Bad Ugly OTT Release Date: Ajith Kumar's Action Film To Stream Online Following Theatrical Run

Good Bad Ugly OTT Release: Ajith Kumar's Tamil action comedy Good Bad Ugly is set to make its OTT debut on Netflix on May 8, 2025. Following its theatrical release on April 10, the film will now be available for streaming in Tamil and dubbed versions in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, Good Bad Ugly marks the Tamil debut production of Mythri Movie Makers, a banner otherwise known for its Telugu-language blockbusters. The film was presented by T-Series and features Ajith Kumar in the lead, supported by a large ensemble cast including Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, Sunil, Karthikeya Dev, Priya Prakash Varrier, Prabhu, Prasanna, and others.

The film revolves around a former gangster who attempts to live a quiet life after serving a prison sentence. However, circumstances force him to confront his past when his son is falsely implicated in a criminal case. Set against an international backdrop, the story mixes family drama with high-stakes action.

Announced in late 2023 under the tentative title AK63-referring to Ajith's 63rd film as a lead actor-the official title was confirmed in March 2024. Filming began in May 2024 with schedules in Hyderabad and Spain and was wrapped up by December that year. The technical team included cinematographer Abinandhan Ramanujam, editor Vijay Velukutty, and composer G.V. Prakash Kumar, who provided the original score.

Upon release, Good Bad Ugly received a mixed response from critics, who felt the film juggled its callbacks to Ajith's earlier works and narrative focus. Despite that, the film performed strongly at the box office, ultimately becoming the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2025 so far.

Netflix confirmed the streaming date through a social media post that read:
