Good Bad Ugly, presented by T-Series, was first announced in late 2023 with the working title AK63, marking Ajith's 63rd film as the lead. The official title was unveiled in March 2024. Principal photography began in May in Hyderabad, with additional shoots in Spain, and concluded by early December. The film features music by G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Abinadhan Ramanujam, and editing by Vijay Velukutty. The film has been released in standard as well as EPIQ formats.

Ajith plays the lead role of AK, a crime boss and ex-convict who is compelled to return to a violent path after his son is kidnapped.
