Initially announced in late 2023 under the working title AK63, referencing Ajith's 63rd lead role, the official title Good Bad Ugly was unveiled in March 2024.

Good Bad Ugly closes its second weekend in Tamil Nadu with a tracked gross of ₹15.92 crore, holding 35% of its opening weekend FSS across 426 cinemas, as of April 20. The film's total tracked gross after 11 days stands at ₹109.83 crore, with actuals estimated to be around ₹136 crore by the end of the period. In its second weekend, the film earned ₹4.92 crore on Friday, ₹5.08 crore on Saturday, and ₹5.92 crore on Sunday, with the weekend officially concluding on April 20.

Good Bad Ugly Storyline

In 2007, Mumbai crime lord AK surrenders to leave his violent past behind and rebuild his life with his family. Eighteen years later, after his release from prison, he travels to Spain to reunite with his estranged wife, Ramya, and son, Vihaan. However, their reunion takes a dark turn when Vihaan is mysteriously arrested. As AK uncovers a web of crime and hidden identities, he faces old enemies and a conspiracy that threatens to destroy his family.

Good Bad Ugly Cast And Crew

Good Bad Ugly stars Ajith Kumar as AK, with Trisha Krishnan as Ramya and Arjun Das in dual roles as Johnny and Jammy. The film features a star-studded cast, including Sunil, Prasanna, Prabhu, Jackie Shroff, Yogi Babu, and Simran in a special appearance. It also has animated cameos by Ma Dong-seok, Keanu Reeves, and Álvaro Morte.

Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, and directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film features music by G.V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Abinandhan Ramanujam, and editing by Vijay Velukutty. The production team also included Supreme Sundar for action choreography, Anu Vardhan for styling, and G.M. Sekhar for production design. Marketing was handled by First Show and D'one, while VFX and sound design were managed by Narendra Logisa and Suren, respectively.
