Good Bad Ugly Marks Ajith's First Project with Adhik Ravichandran

Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, Good Bad Ugly marks Ajith's first collaboration with the filmmaker in his long and illustrious career. Besides being his 63rd film in a leading role, it also marks Mythri Movie Makers' debut Tamil venture after a successful track record in Telugu cinema. The project was originally announced as "AK63" in late 2023 before being formally titled in early 2024.

The story follows former gangster AK, played by Ajith, who is released from prison after 18 years in hopes of reconnecting with his estranged son. But his past catches up with him fast, as a pair of mysterious twins and an underworld power struggle drag him back into a violent world of deception and conspiracy.

The film features Trisha Krishnan as the female lead, while Arjun Das takes on dual roles that bring an added layer to the drama. The ensemble cast also includes Sunil, Prabhu, Prasanna, along with brief appearances by familiar names such as Jackie Shroff, Simran, and Shine Tom Chacko.

Filmed in Hyderabad and Spain, the project was wrapped up by December 2024. G.V. Prakash Kumar's music and Abinandhan Ramanujam's cinematography contribute to the film's overall mood, with Vijay Velukutty handling the editing.
