Good Bad Ugly Worldwide Box Office Day 1: Kollywood's latest release, the awaited and hyped action-comedy starring Ajith, 'Good Bad Ugly' was released to a sensational buzz worldwide on April 10. Written and directed by fan boy Adhik Ravichandran, the movie which boasts of notable pan-India actors showcased the quintessential Ajith in his vintage form, with his best makeover and looks as yet.

Good Bad Ugly Synopsis

AK (Ajith) is a former gangster who spent 18 years in prison. He is also known as Red Dragon. When his son Vihaan (Karthikeya Dev) turns 18, he wants his father to be with him but unfortunately, Vihaan is arrested in a drug case. When AK learns about his son's arrest, he goes back to his old ways to protect his son by embarking on a mission to take down the criminals behind his son's arrest. Ajith-starrer movies carry a sky-high hype every time and his recent films are no different. The actor, who shed his title 'Thala' excited his fans with Good Bad Ugly, which marks the Kollywood debut of Mythri Movie Makers, the mighty producers of Tollywood with Pushpa 2 as a testimony. Adhik Ravichadnran's directorial is a feast to the die-hard fans of Ajith, who couldn't help but chant 'Ajithey' throughout the movie and the celebrations around it.

Good Bad Ugly movie also is a special collaboration between Trisha and Ajith, who came together for the sixth time. Arjun Das played an antagonist and is a surprise package in a dual role, opined the critics, who heaped praise on his performance that stands out. The early reviews for Good Bad Ugly were mostly mixed reactions. The first day occupancy ratio was over 75%, which is unbelievable. However, with the flat reviews pouring in, the second day's occupancy dropped by over 60%.

According to the Sacnilk website, Ajith's Good Bad Ugly movie made about Rs 29.25 Crore from India on its opening day with only Rs 1.1 Crore from its Telugu version. The movie surpassed Thalapathy Vijay's GOAT domestic collection on day 1, in addition to surpassing the opening day figures of Ajith-Magizh Thirumeni's recent action-thriller Vidaamuyarchi.

Good Bad Ugly movie's GCC box office collection also recorded the actor's career-highest opening day numbers with Rs 4.15 Crore. In the UK, Ajith's film saw a sensational six-figure opening. The USA overseas figures are about $ 2 million. Put together, the movie's worldwide box office is estimated to have crossed Rs 50 Crore, as per T2BLive. However, there is no official confirmation from the filmmakers about Good Bad Ugly movie's opening day box office collection as yet.
