Heart Beat Season 2 OTT Release: The Tamil medical drama Heart Beat is set to return with its second season, with streaming scheduled to begin on May 22 on JioHotstar. Following a widely watched and talked-about first season, the series is gearing up to continue its story with new developments, characters, and emotional arcs.

Heart Beat made its debut on March 8, 2024, and concluded its first season on August 23 the same year, clocking in a substantial run of 100 episodes. After its digital premiere, the series also found a slot on television, airing on Star Vijay every Sunday from November 24, 2024, at 4:30 PM. The show is noted for its depiction of hospital life and the interpersonal dynamics among doctors, taking inspiration from global medical dramas like Grey's Anatomy and New Amsterdam.

Heart Beat Season 2 to Explore Reena's Journey

Set in the fictional RK Multispeciality Hospital, the series focuses on the lives of medical interns, residents, and senior doctors, interweaving professional hurdles with personal stories. Season 2 resumes the journey of Reena, played by Deepa Balu, who has transitioned from intern to a practicing doctor. The narrative follows her professional growth and her strained personal ties-particularly with Arjun, portrayed by Charukesh, the son of the hospital's owner.

Other key cast members returning or joining the series include Anumol as Dr. Radhi Thiyagarajan, Yogalakshmi as Teju, Sarvhaa as Guna, Padine Kumar as Anitha, and RG Ram as Naveen. The season is expected to address unresolved plot threads from the first season while introducing fresh tensions and narrative shifts.

Behind the scenes, the series continues under the direction and writing of Deepak Sundarrajan, with Regimel Surya Thomas handling cinematography. Editing is by Vignesh Arjun, and the music is composed by Sharan Raghavan.

Alongside the Tamil original, the second season will also be available in dubbed versions in Telugu and Hindi. A new title track was recently unveiled on social media as part of the promotional campaign.
