House Mates Early Review: Renowned actor Darshan is all over the headlines as he is coming with the much talked about House Mates. Directed by T. Raja Vel, House Mates is a fantasy horror film which features Darshan in the lead along with Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Kaali Venkat and Vinodhini. Interestingly, House Mates marks Darshan's return to big screen after two years. He was last seen in 2023 release Thunivu. Needless to say House Mates has managed to create a lot of buzz in the town

It is reported that House Mates revolves around an apartment which is shared by two different family across a ten year time gap. The movie takes an intense turn as they start communicating through mysterious wall messages to solve this unusual horror mystery. In a viral tweet on microblogging site Twitter, House Mates got a rating of 3.75 stars. The tweet stated that the movie comes with an innovative story and thrilling screenplay. "First half is full of fun 2nd half is fun + emotional end", read the tweet. It also mentioned that it is a good watch with the family.

Meanwhile, as House Mates is jointly produced by Sivakarthikeyan Productions, Play Smith Studios, and South Studios, Darshan in an interview spoke about Sivakarthikeyan's role in the film. As per a repost in Movie Crow, he stated, "Sivakarthikeyan was aware of House Mates right from the time the story was narrated to me. He kept tabs on it at every level of production. Not just because he is my well-wisher, but he also liked the film. Immediately after watching House Mates, Sivakarthikeyan said he would present the film. We all know the quality movies he has produced and presented, and hopefully, House Mates will join the list".
