Ishari Ganesh's Daughter Preethaa's Wedding: Chennai witnessed a high-profile wedding event on Friday as film producer and educationist Ishari K. Ganesh hosted the marriage of his daughter, Preethaa K. Ganesh. The ceremony took place in the city with a significant turnout from Tamil cinema and political circles. Preethaa tied the knot with Lushwin Kumar in a traditional ceremony that quickly garnered public attention as photos from the event began circulating on social media.

Ishari Ganesh, the founder of Vels Films International and chancellor of Vels University, has long been a known figure in both the film industry and academic sectors in Tamil Nadu. He has backed several Tamil films, including LKG, Comali, and Mookuthi Amman, and is currently producing Mookuthi Amman 2. According to a report by Asianet Tamil News, his production slate also includes Genie starring Ravi Mohan, Dayangaram with Vijay Sethupathi, and a project featuring Dhanush directed by Mari Selvaraj, among others.

Among the guests were actors Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Sathyaraj, and director Mani Ratnam, who arrived with his wife, Suhasini. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.
