Despite good reviews from the audience, Kaantha has failed to beat Dulquer's last theatrical release Lucky Bhaskar which had made a collection of Rs 6.45cr (including Tamil and Telugu) on its day of release

Given the fact that the weekend has begun, Kaantha is expected to see a hike in numbers today (Day 2/ first Saturday). The movie is likely to rake in Rs 5-7cr on day 2 and will be crossing Rs 10cr in two days.

Meanwhile, Dulquer recently shared his biggest fear while in conversation with Gulte and stated, "My character's title is Naditu Chakravarthy. I don't believe I am a great actor. There is always a percentage of the audience who keep telling me that I can't act. There will be some criticism I keep reading. So in my head, am I not good? This fear is there".
