Kaantha Teaser Out Now: The teaser of Kaantha, the upcoming Tamil film starring Dulquer Salmaan, Samuthirakani, and Bhagyashri Borse, was released today, July 28, coinciding with Dulquer's birthday. The film, written and directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, is slated to hit cinemas on September 12, 2025.

Set against the backdrop of the golden age of Tamil cinema, the teaser introduces Dulquer in the role of a star actor grappling with personal and professional challenges. Samuthirakani plays a director referred to as 'Ayya' in the teaser-a once-mentor-turned-distant figure in the actor's life. The teaser suggests a strained relationship between the two, marked by emotional distance and unresolved tension. Bhagyashri Borse appears as a fellow actress, though the teaser offers few details about her role.
