While Kamal Haasan looked unrecognisable in Kalki 2898 AD and his prosthetics look left everyone in awe, he is seen donning the gangster look in Thug Life. During an exclusive interview with Filmibeat, Kamal Haasan was quizzed about which role was difficult for him and his answer left everyone amazed.

Kamal Haasan stated, "Difficult in the sense, you can't take physical endure as difficult. When you don't like something and you're doing something, that's the most difficult part. If you like the unit, you like the director, nothing will become difficult".

Meanwhile, Thug Life has been grabbing headlines for Kamal Haasan's lip lock scene with Abhirami which left everyone brimming with an opinion. However, in one of her interviews, Abhirami emphasised that while there is a lot of misunderstanding regarding the scene, she is hopeful that things will change after the audience will watch the movie. "I always accept the decisions of my filmmakers, and I performed this scene willingly. The scene appears in just three shots. I don't think there will be further comments once the film is released," she told Deccan Chronicle. To note, Thug Life is set to hit the screens on June 5.
