Kingston Box Office Day 2 Prediction: Directed by Kamal Prakash, Kingston is the latest and first-of-its-kind sea adventure horror film in Tamil featuring GV Prakash Kumar in the lead role. The movie starring Divyabharathi as the female lead was released worldwide in Tamil and Telugu on March 7. Kingston marks the 25th film of the musician-turned-actor as a protagonist and was made on a budget of about Rs 20 Crore. Kingston Synopsis
The movie Kingston is set against the backdrop of a coastal village called Thoovathur, Tamil Nadu. It transcends between the present and the past (1982) where a curse drives away villagers and prompts them to quit fishing. In the present, Kingston (GV Prakash Kumar) who wants to make more money works for a smuggling gang led by Thomas (Sabumon Abdusamad) in Thoothukudi. After an incident, Kingston decides to leave the gang and returns to his village to revive fishing. What is the curse? What Happens to Kingston? Did he stop the curse?

San Lokesh and Gokul Benoy worked as the editor and cinematographer of Kingston movie. GV Prakash Kumar himself composed the film's score and music.
