Kudumbasthan Now Streaming: The Tamil comedy-drama Kudumbasthan, marking Rajeshwar Kalisamy's directorial debut, is now streaming on ZEE5. Produced by S. Vinoth Kumar under Cinemakaaran, the film features K. Manikandan and Saanve Megghana, along with R. Sundarrajan, Guru Somasundaram, Kudassanad Kanakam, and Nivedita Rajappan.

With music by Vaisagh, cinematography by Sujith N. Subramaniam, and editing by Kannan Balu, Kudumbasthan premiered in theaters on January 24, 2025, to positive reviews. The film is now streaming exclusively on ZEE5 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Kudumbasthan Storyline

Naveen, a struggling ad designer and the sole provider for his family, conceals his job loss while grappling with mounting financial pressures and family expectations. As debts pile up and humiliation looms, he resorts to desperate measures to stay afloat. With his wife's UPSC aspirations and a newborn on the way, he faces a tough choice between his self-respect and his family's well-being-until an unexpected path to redemption emerges.

Produced by S. Vinoth Kumar under the Cinemakaaran banner, the film marks the directorial debut of Rajeshwar Kalisamy, who co-wrote the story and screenplay with Prasanna Balachandran. The dialogues were penned by Prasanna Balachandran, with N. Krishnakanth as the associate screenwriter. Sujith N. Subramaniam handled cinematography, while Kannan Balu took charge of editing. The art direction was led by Suresh Kallery, with Meera M as the costume designer. Action sequences were choreographed by Dinesh Subbarayan, and associate directors Vignesh Aruchamy, Ashwin Ram, and Krishnakanth played key roles in the filmmaking process.
