Kudumbasthan OTT Release: The Tamil comedy-drama Kudumbasthan, directed by Rajeshwar Kalisamy in his directorial debut, is set to make its digital premiere on ZEE5 from March 7. Produced by S. Vinoth Kumar under Cinemakaaran, the film stars K. Manikandan and Saanve Megghana, alongside R. Sundarrajan, Guru Somasundaram, Kudassanad Kanakam, and Nivedita Rajappan.

With music by Vaisagh, cinematography by Sujith N. Subramaniam, and editing by Kannan Balu, Kudumbasthan was released in theaters on January 24, 2025, to positive reviews. Now, audiences can enjoy the film in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi from March 7, exclusively on ZEE5.

Kudumbasthan Storyline

Naveen, a struggling ad designer and sole breadwinner for his family, hides his job loss while juggling financial burdens and family expectations. As debts mount and humiliation looms, he takes desperate measures to stay afloat. With his wife's UPSC dreams and a newborn on the way, Naveen must choose between self-respect and family before finding unexpected redemption.

Kudumbasthan, produced by S. Vinoth Kumar under the Cinemakaaran banner, marks the directorial debut of Rajeshwar Kalisamy, who also co-wrote the story and screenplay with Prasanna Balachandran. The dialogues for the film were penned by Prasanna Balachandran, and N. Krishnakanth served as the associate screenwriter. Sujith N. Subramaniam handled cinematography, while Kannan Balu took charge of editing. Art direction was led by Suresh Kallery, with Meera M as the costume designer.
