Lingusamy Recalls Past Marriage Proposal Discussion on Keerthy & Vishal: Acclaimed Tamil filmmaker N. Lingusamy, known for directing films such as Aanandham, Run, Sandakozhi, and Paiyaa, has reportedly spoken about a past discussion regarding actress Keerthy Suresh's marriage. As cited by Asianet News Telugu and Times Now, Lingusamy recounted an incident involving a past marriage proposal for Keerthy, which was initiated by actor Vishal's father, GK Reddy.

Years ago, Keerthy Suresh, who recently tied the knot with her longtime love Antony Thattil, was reportedly approached with a different proposal. During the making of Sandakozhi 2 (2018), GK Reddy was deeply impressed by Keerthy's kind and respectful nature and suggested the idea of a matrimonial alliance between her and Vishal. He then reportedly asked Lingusamy to approach Keerthy to discuss the possibility.

Following this request, Lingusamy reportedly visited Keerthy's home to convey the proposal. However, upon hearing his purpose, Keerthy promptly informed him that she had been in love with her childhood sweetheart, Antony Thattil, for a long time. She made it clear that she was committed to her relationship and had no intention of considering another match. Now, years later, Keerthy has officially married Antony in a traditional Tamil wedding on December 12, followed by a white wedding shortly after. The grand celebration was attended by several prominent stars, including Vijay, Trisha, Atlee, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and others.

Keerthy has credited her husband for supporting her throughout her acting career. Director Lingusamy, who was part of this past discussion, also attended her wedding as a guest.
