Maaman 13 Days Box Office Collection: Soori-Aishwarya Lekshmi Film Holds Ground As It Nears Two-Week Mark

Maaman 13 Days Box Office Soori-Aishwarya Film Holds

Maaman Box Office Collection: Actor Soori's latest outing, Maaman, which released in cinemas on May 16, 2025, has completed 13 days at the box office with a steady performance. Directed by Prasanth Pandiyaraj, the Tamil-language action drama has been tracking modestly well, collecting an estimated ₹27.61 crore in India net collections so far, according to box office aggregator Sacnilk.

The film opened with a respectable ₹1.75 crore on its first Friday. Over the opening weekend, it saw a gradual upward trend, earning ₹2.5 crore on Saturday and ₹3.85 crore on Sunday, pushing its three-day total to ₹8.1 crore. Weekdays saw a predictable dip but remained consistent, with Monday bringing in ₹2.05 crore and Tuesday ₹2.25 crore. By the end of its first week, Maaman had earned ₹16 crore.

In its second week, the film showed a reasonable hold. The second Friday recorded ₹1.75 crore, followed by a Saturday spike to ₹2.7 crore and ₹3.5 crore on Sunday. Weekday numbers in the second week, however, declined, with Monday collecting ₹1.52 crore (based on early estimates), followed by ₹1.2 crore on Tuesday and ₹0.94 crore on Wednesday.

Maaman has held its ground, joining the list of Tamil theatrical releases in 2025 that have reportedly emerged as hits, such as Madha Gaja Raja, Kudumbasthan, Dragon, Good Bad Ugly, and Tourist Family. The film's consistent occupancy levels, particularly over the weekends, suggest that family audiences have played a key role in sustaining its theatrical run through the second week.

Soori-led Family Drama Inches Towards ₹30 Crore Mark

Maaman features Soori and Aishwarya Lekshmi in lead roles, supported by Rajkiran, Swasika, Bala Saravanan, and others. The story, written by Soori himself, revolves around familial relationships and the challenges of balancing emotional ties. The film has a strong ensemble cast, with key technical contributions from Dinesh Purushothaman (cinematography), Hesham Abdul Wahab (music), and Ganesh Siva (editing).

Produced by K. Kumar under the Lark Studios banner, Maaman marks another significant release for Soori, who has been exploring lead roles recently. The film's box office trajectory over the next few days will determine whether it crosses the ₹30 crore mark in its theatrical run. For now, Maaman stands at ₹27.61 crore after 13 days in theaters.
