According to Cinetrak, Maaman, which minted Rs 2.42 crores on day 9 (second Saturday), made a collection of Rs 3.14 crores on day 10 (second Sunday) which happens to be the highest single day collection for the movie. As a result, the overall collection of Maaman turne out to be Rs 20.37 crores

Interestingly, according to a report published in Sacnilk, Maaman saw a hike of 29.63% on 2nd Sunday in India. The movie minted Rs 2.7 crores on day 9 (second Saturday) and earned Rs 3.5 crores on day 10 (second Sunday) taking the overall collections of the movie to Rs 23.95 crores. To note, Maaman made a collection of Rs 6.2 crores during the second weekend.
Meanwhile, talking about Maaman, Soori told India Today, "Maaman is a story that appeals to everyone. In fact, I dedicate the film to all the people I know. I did the film thinking of certain milestones. There are people that I know who are separated and if they get back with each other after watching this film, I'd feel achieved. If they get back, I will share the happiness with them."
