Ahead of its release, the film has begun drawing attention following preview screenings, with several members of the film industry sharing their early impressions online.
Veteran actor Kamal Haasan recently took to social media to express his thoughts after watching the film. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Kamal Haasan described Maareesan as a film that "dances effortlessly between wit and depth," adding that it left him "laughing, thinking, and admiring its craft." He also commended the team behind the film, noting that he had a conversation with them following the screening to offer his congratulations.

A Road Journey Framed by Unlikely Companionship
Maareesan, directed by Sudheesh Sankar and produced by R. B. Choudary under the Super Good Films banner, is described as an adventure drama thriller. The plot unfolds as the pair travel through various landscapes, encountering unexpected emotional and moral dilemmas.
