Maareesan Teaser Release Time: Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu, who last shared the screen in the 2023 political drama Maamannan, are coming together once again in a new film titled Maareesan. Produced by RB Choudary under his banner Super Good Films, the project marks the veteran production house's 98th venture.

The teaser of Maareesan is scheduled to be released today at 5 PM. While details around the storyline remain under wraps, the makers have officially confirmed that the film will be hitting theaters in July.

Fahadh and Vadivelu Team Up Again

Directed by Sudheesh Sankar, best known for the Malayalam film Villali Veeran, Maareesan is reportedly an intense drama. The film was shot in various locations in and around Chennai. Fahadh Faasil, who was last seen in Tamil in Vettaiyan alongside Rajinikanth, takes on a lead role once again. His recent projects also include Bougainvillea in Malayalam and Pushpa 2: The Rule in Telugu. The actor has a busy slate ahead, including titles like Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira, Don't Trouble The Trouble, Karate Chandran, and the star-studded MMMN featuring Mohanlal, Nayanthara, Mammootty, and Kunchacko Boban. He has also signed on for Tharun Moorthy's upcoming thriller Torpedo.

Vadivelu's most recent appearances include Chandramukhi 2 and Gangers. His pairing with Fahadh Faasil in Maamannan had drawn attention for its unique casting and performance dynamic. That film, directed by Mari Selvaraj and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies, was both critically and commercially well received.

Maareesan features music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The technical crew includes Kalaiselvan Sivaji as the cinematographer and Sreejith Sarang handling the editing. The creative production is backed by E4 Experiments LLP. Other key contributors include lyricist Madhan Karky and stunt coordinator Phoenix Prabhu.

The film's digital streaming rights have been acquired by Netflix, though a streaming release date is yet to be announced. As of now, anticipation builds for the teaser, which is expected to provide the first real glimpse into the film's tone and characters.
