Mask Box Office Collection: The Tamil action comedy thriller Mask, starring Kavin and Andrea Jeremiah, continued its theatrical run on Saturday with a noticeable upward trend in collections. The film, which released on November 21, marks the directorial debut of Vikarnan Ashok and brings together a sizeable technical team under the banners The Show Must Go On and Black Madras Films.
Mask arrives as a mentor-backed project, with acclaimed filmmaker Vetrimaaran guiding its development. The film features music by G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by R. D. Rajasekhar, and editing by R. Ramar. The makers have positioned the film as a tense, fast-paced thriller centered on crime, betrayal, and the pursuit of a massive sum of stolen money.

According to estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk, Mask collected ₹1.3 crore (net) across India on its first Saturday. This marks a growth of a little over 13% compared to its opening day figure of ₹1.15 crore. With this, the film's two-day total stands at approximately ₹2.45 crore.
The Saturday jump indicates that the film has managed to attract additional footfall heading into the first weekend. Sunday's numbers are expected to provide further clarity on how strongly the film is holding in its early days, especially as it enters Day 3 today.
Story and Setting
The film revolves around a high-stakes theft involving ₹440 crore and a race against time as characters scramble to retrieve the stolen amount within seven days. At the center of the plot is an intricate triangle involving a man driven by greed, a woman whose motives remain ambiguous, and a crafty individual who carries a bag full of surprises. The narrative unfolds as a blend of deception, strategy, and shifting alliances, building toward a tense and explosive conclusion.

Alongside Kavin and Andrea Jeremiah, the film also features Ruhani Sharma. The project has contributions from an extensive crew, ranging from art direction by Jacki and M. Vijay Iyyappan to stunt choreography by Peter Hein and Vicky. The colour grading has been handled by KS Rajasekaran, while Lorven Studios supervised the VFX work. The production also includes sound design by Prathap K and choreography by Azar and Viji.
