Mask Celebrity Review: Nelson Dilipkumar Shares His Take On Kavin-Andrea Jeremiah's Dark Comedy Thriller

Mask Celebrity Review: The upcoming Tamil film Mask, starring Kavin and Andrea Jeremiah, is gearing up for its theatrical release on November 21, 2025. Billed as a black comedy crime thriller, the film marks the directorial debut of Vikarnan Ashok and is produced jointly by The Show Must Go On and Black Madras Films.

The project is mentored by filmmaker Vetrimaaran, signalling confidence in the film's creative vision. At a recent promotional event, writer-director Nelson Dilipkumar, known for Doctor and Jailer, shared his impressions of the movie. He described what he had seen and heard about Mask as "very fresh" and noted that it belonged to the dark comedy zone and was executed effectively. Nelson also remarked that it was perhaps the most entertaining film produced under Vetrimaaran's supervision, calling the concept unique within Tamil cinema.

Mask Cast And Technical Crew Details

The film features a strong technical team. Music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, with cinematography by R. D. Rajasekhar and editing by R. Ramar. The production design is handled by Jacki and M. Vijay Iyyappan, while action sequences are choreographed by renowned stunt coordinators Peter Hein and Vicky. The digital intermediate was done at D Studios Post, where the process was carried out under the supervision of colorist K. S. Rajasekaran.

Andrea Jeremiah, who also serves as one of the producers alongside S. P. Chockalingam, plays one of the central characters, while Ruhani Sharma appears in a pivotal role. Costume design is handled by Poorthi Pravin and Vipin, choreography by Azar and Viji, and sound design by Prathap K. The VFX is managed by Lorven Studios, led by R. Harihara Suthan.

The creative team behind Mask includes lyricists Karumathur Manimaran, Kaber Vasuki, and Arulparan Vaheesan, while the film's publicity design is managed by Viyaki. Public relations are handled by Riaz K. Ahmed.
