Strong performances from the cast add depth to the eerie atmosphere, while the film's technical execution, particularly in sound and visuals, enhances the overall experience. Debutant director Hemnath Narayana has been praised for crafting an intriguing screenplay that maintains suspense throughout. Murmur Storyline
A team of Chennai-based paranormal YouTubers sets out to explore a cursed forest, aiming to capture real-time encounters with the "Seven Saptha Kannigal" and a vengeful spirit. However, when they vanish without a trace, the police recover only their shattered cameras, filled with unsettling footage. MurMur unravels through this eerie recorded evidence, exposing the horrifying events that took place.
Murmur Crew
Murmur is written and directed by Hemnath Narayanan and produced by Prabakaran under SPK Pictures Private Limited in association with Stand Alone Pictures International. The film's technical team includes DOP Jason Williams, editor Rohith, and sound designer Kewyn Frederick. Hasini Pavithra serves as the production designer, while Prakash Ramachandran handles costume design. Special makeup is done by Seldon George, and stunts are choreographed by Sharp Shankar. The film's PRO is Srivenkatesh, with stills captured by Theni Anbu and publicity designs by Dinesh Ashok. Marketing is managed by Mak Media Entertainment, with VFX by Rohith and color grading by Raghuraman. The executive producer is Praveen Kumar, and production is overseen by controller Nagarajan. The direction team includes associate director Lakshmi Aaroun and assistant director Harish. DI is done at Sri Kalasa Studio, with dubbing engineering handled by Yougpaul Dhanraj.
