Murmur OTT Release: Tamil cinema explores the found-footage horror genre with Murmur, a supernatural thriller that premiered in theaters on March 7. Written and directed by Hemanth Narayanan, the film follows a group of paranormal YouTubers investigating a cursed forest.

Murmur is now set for its digital streaming debut this week on Tentkotta. Announcing the release, the platform shared on social media, "Terror lurks in the shadows! #MurMur, the spine-chilling sensation, premieres this week on #Tentkotta. Are you ready?" The official streaming date is yet to be confirmed by the makers.

Murmur Premise

A team of paranormal YouTubers from Chennai sets out to explore a cursed forest, hoping to capture real-time encounters with the "Seven Saptha Kannigal" and a vengeful spirit. However, when they vanish without a trace, the only clue left behind is their shattered cameras filled with unsettling footage. Murmur unravels through these eerie recordings, exposing the horrifying events that took place.

Murmur is written and directed by Hemnath Narayanan and produced by Prabakaran under Spk Pictures Private Limited in association with Stand Alone Pictures International. The film's cinematography is handled by Jason Williams, with editing by Rohith and sound design by Kewyn Frederick.
