The movie, also produced by Dhanush, hit the entertainment headlines with its entertaining and youthful trailer drop on February 10. Referred to as DD3, which means third film in Dhanush's directorial, NEEK promises a simple and new take on Gen Z love stories and their relationships. The romantic drama of two couples stars Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, Ramya Ranganathan, and Siddharth Shankar in pivotal roles.

Bankrolled under the Wunderbar Films by Kasthoori Raja and Vijayalakshmi Kasthoori Raja, the movie is written and directed by Dhanush. G.V. Prakash Kumar composed the film's entire music and score. Leon Britto cranked the camera and G.K Prasanna worked as the editor.
