Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam Now Streaming On OTT: Dhanush's Tamil coming-of-age romantic comedy Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam: A Usual Love Story (NEEK) is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime from March 21, 2025. Following its theatrical release on February 21, 2025, the film is now accessible to a wider audience, allowing those who missed it in cinemas to experience it from the comfort of their homes.

A Long-Awaited Release

Produced by Dhanush, Kasthuri Raja, and Vijayalakshmi Kasthuri under the banners of Wunderbar Films and RK Productions, the film had a long journey before reaching its final release. Originally conceived in 2016 by Soundarya Rajinikanth with Dhanush set to star, the project faced multiple delays. Dhanush officially took over as director in December 2023, and after briefly being referred to as DD3 (marking his third directorial venture), the film received its official title, with principal photography commencing soon after.

NEEK Storyline

NEEK follows Prabhu, a young chef struggling to move on from his past relationship with Nila. As he prepares to settle into an arranged marriage with Preethi, his past resurfaces when he reconnects with Nila. When Nila faces a family crisis, Prabhu steps back, giving her space to be with her father. Eventually, he chooses to embrace his future with Preethi, marking a new beginning in his life.

NEEK Cast and Crew

The film stars Pavish Narayan as Prabhu Devachandran, a chef dealing with heartbreak, and Mathew Thomas as Rajesh, his close friend and fellow chef. Anikha Surendran plays Nila Karunakaran, Prabhu's ex-girlfriend, while Priya Prakash Varrier portrays Preethi, his childhood friend and fiancée.

Other notable actors include R. Sarathkumar as Nila's father, Karunakaran, Venkatesh Menon as Ravi, Rabiya Khatoon as Sriya (Rajesh's love interest), Ramya Ranganathan as Anjali (a wedding planner who becomes involved in Prabhu's life), and Siddhartha Shankar as Arvindh Siddarth (Nila's fiancée).
