Nesippaya OTT Release: The Tamil romantic action thriller Nesippaya, which hit theaters on January 14, 2025, is now heading to streaming platforms. Directed by Vishnuvardhan and produced by XB Film Creators, the film marks the acting debut of Akash Murali and features Aditi Shankar in the lead. The movie is set to stream on Lionsgate Play and Sun NXT from May 16.

Nesippaya: A Tamil Romantic Thriller

Set across two timelines, Nesippaya follows the journey of Arjun and Diya, whose romance begins during their college years. Their relationship, however, ends on a bitter note after a disagreement over their future. Years later, the story takes a darker turn when Arjun learns that Diya has been arrested overseas under serious accusations. Despite the emotional distance between them, Arjun travels abroad in an attempt to help her, only to find himself entangled in a complex situation involving powerful figures and long-buried secrets.

Apart from Akash Murali and Aditi Shankar, the film also stars R. Sarathkumar as Adhinarayanan, Prabhu as Special Officer Gautham, and Khushbu as Vasundhra Adhinarayanan. The supporting cast includes Kalki Koechlin, Shiv Panditt, Raja, George Kora, Vikkals Vikram, Mathew Varghese, Sriranjani, Parvathi T, and Prajna Ravi.

Nesippaya features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with cinematography by Cameron Eric Bryson and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. The screenplay and dialogues were penned by Neelan Sekar in collaboration with director Vishnuvardhan, who also wrote the story.

The technical crew includes production designer Saravanan Vasanth, action director Federico Cueva, and sound designer Tapas Nayak. Anu Vardhan handled costume design, while Dinesh choreographed the songs. VFX work was led by Abdul Rehman, and digital imaging was completed at Famous Digital Studios.

With its streaming release set for tomorrow, Nesippaya will be available to a wider audience who may have missed its theatrical run. Viewers can watch the film from the comfort of their homes on Lionsgate Play and Sun NXT starting May 16, 2025.
