Paranthu Po Box Office Collection: Paranthu Po, the Tamil road musical comedy directed by Ram, has completed its first two days in theaters with a modest but noticeable rise in its box office earnings. The film, which opened in cinemas on July 4 following its premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam earlier this year, has reportedly earned ₹1.35 crore (India net) in its first two days, according to early estimates by Sacnilk.

The film saw a quiet opening on Friday with ₹0.42 crore collected, but Saturday showed a clear upward trend, with earnings increasing to ₹0.93 crore. This 121% growth indicates a pickup in audience interest.

Starring Shiva as Gokul and introducing Mithul Ryan as the spirited eight-year-old Anbu, Paranthu Po follows a father-son duo on a spontaneous journey that takes unexpected turns. Grace Antony plays Glory, Gokul's wife and Anbu's mother, while Anjali, Vijay Yesudas, and Aju Varghese appear in key supporting roles. The narrative blends humor and sentiment as it explores familial bonds, youthful mischief, and the chaos that comes from well-intentioned adventure.

The film is co-produced by Jio Hotstar, GKS Bros Production, and Ram's own banner, Seven Seas and Seven Hills Productions. Music plays a central role in the film's road-movie format, with Santhosh Dhayanidhi composing the songs and Yuvan Shankar Raja providing the background score. Cinematography and editing are handled by N. K. Ekambaram and Mathi V. S., respectively. The film was reportedly shot across various locations in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
