Paranthu Po OTT Release: Where To Stream Shiva Starrer Musical Comedy Movie After Its Theatrical Run

Paranthu Po OTT Release: Paranthu Po, the Tamil road musical comedy featuring Shiva and child actor Mithul Ryan in lead roles, hit theaters worldwide today, July 4, 2025. While the film begins its theatrical journey, details about its post-theatrical streaming plans have also started emerging.

Directed and co-produced by filmmaker Ram under the Seven Seas and Seven Hills Productions banner, the film will eventually be available to stream on JioHotstar. However, the digital premiere date is yet to be officially announced and is expected to follow after the film completes its theatrical run.

Paranthu Po: Family and Self-Discovery

Paranthu Po tells the story of a schoolboy and his financially burdened father who embark on a road trip to escape the demands of city life. Their journey across Tamil Nadu and Kerala leads to unexpected encounters that influence their relationship and personal growth. The screenplay blends music, travel, and situational comedy, with supporting roles played by Grace Antony, Anjali, Vijay Yesudas, Aju Varghese, Dia, Jesse Kukku, Balaji Sakthivel, and Sreeja Ravi.

The film was previously screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) in February 2025 under the Limelight section, ahead of its commercial release. It also marks the Tamil cinema debut of Malayalam actors Grace Antony and Aju Varghese.

The film's technical team features N. K. Ekambaram behind the camera, with editing by Mathi V. S., music composed by Santhosh Dhayanidhi, and background score provided by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Lyrics were written by Madhan Karky. Choreography is handled by Richy Richardson, with action sequences by Stunt Silva. The art direction is by Kumar Gangappan and the costume design by Chandrakant Sonawane.

The film is jointly produced by Ram, V. Gunasekaran, V. Karupuchaamy, and V. Shankar, in association with GKS Bros Productions, and presented by JioHotstar. Romeo Pictures is handling worldwide theatrical distribution.

In addition to its digital rights, Paranthu Po's satellite rights have reportedly been acquired by Vijay TV and Colors Tamil. The film's soundtrack is available through Think Music.

With its theatrical release underway, audience responses are expected to surface online throughout the day. The film's OTT release will be announced at a later stage.
