During their journey, encounters with compassionate strangers gradually lead them to realize what has been absent from their lives back home.

The story is set against the backdrop of a journey that spans across Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Given its classification as a road musical comedy, the film is expected to explore the experiences of its characters through travel, music, and humor. Paranthu Po is noted for introducing Malayalam actors Grace Antony and Aju Varghese to Tamil cinema.
