Perusu OTT Release Date & Platform Official: Based on a Sinhalese film titled 'Tentigo' written and directed by Ilango Ram, 'Perusu' is the Tamil adaptation of the dark-comedy family drama that was released on March 14. Starring Vaibhav Reddy, Niharika NM, and Sunil Reddy, the Perusu movie won an above-average response after the theatrical release with reviewers talking fairly good things about it.

The movie won positive reactions for the engaging narrative, comedy-filled scenes, and performances while critics also pointed out the run-of-the-mill jokes, complacency and the lack of depth. While the story majorly banks on the comedy, the core plot woven around the family has less to explore.

The movie is a journey of two brothers who find out their father is not fully gone but attempt to continue with a secret funeral. As the family gets involved, they navigate through the challenges and their strained relationship and the deceased father's romantic life. The narrative is filled with humor.
