Prince and Family (Tamil) OTT Release: After its theatrical release in early May, Prince and Family, a comedy-drama led by actor Dileep, is heading to the digital space. The film, which also marks Dileep's 150th screen appearance, will be made available for streaming on ZEE5 starting June 20, 2025. Notably, both the original Malayalam version and its Tamil-dubbed counterpart will premiere on the same date.

Directed by Binto Stephen, making his debut in the director's chair, and written by Sharis Mohammed, Prince and Family follows the story of an introverted boutique owner who gets married to a spirited social media influencer. The film weaves together comedic and dramatic moments that stem from the couple's clashing personalities and the familial chaos that ensues.

Dileep's 150th Film Set for OTT Debut After Theatrical Run

The film first hit cinemas on May 9, 2025, and received attention not only for its storyline but also for being a milestone project in Dileep's career. The ensemble cast includes Raniya Raanaa as Chinju Rani, Prince's wife; Dhyan Sreenivasan as his younger brother Jince; and supporting roles by Siddique, Bindu Panicker, Johny Antony, Manju Pillai, and Josekutty Jacob. Cameos by Urvashi and Vineeth Thattil David also add a lighter touch to the narrative.

Produced by Listin Stephen under the Magic Frames banner, Prince and Family was filmed over the course of 85 days in locations such as Ooty, Kozhikode, and Ernakulam. The film's technical crew includes Renadive as director of photography, Sagar Dass as editor, and Sanal Dev handling music composition. Art direction was led by Akhil Raj Chirayil, with costumes designed by Sameera Saneesh and Venki.

The film's streaming on ZEE5 comes as part of a post-theatrical deal, while its satellite television rights have been secured by Zee Keralam. Audiences who missed the film in theaters will now be able to watch it from home, with the Tamil version extending the film's accessibility to Tamil audiences.

With its digital premiere imminent, Prince and Family is now set to reach new viewers across language barriers, reflecting the growing trend of regional films finding wider audiences through OTT platforms.
