Rajaputhiran OTT Release: The Tamil drama film Rajaputhiran, which had its theatrical release on May 30, 2025, is now gearing up for its digital streaming. The makers have officially announced that the film will be available to stream on Aha Tamil starting July 25, 2025.

The release comes nearly two months after the film's theatrical run and is expected to expand its reach among audiences who may have missed its big-screen debut.

Directed by Mahaa Kandhan in his debut, Rajaputhiran features veteran actor Prabhu as Chellaiyah, a traditional farmer in drought-hit Ramanathapuram. His son, Pattamuthu (played by Vetri), driven by ambition and the promise of quick income, secretly takes up work under Linga (Komal Kumar). What follows is a conflict rooted in generational values and shifting societal pressures, as Chellaiyah confronts the consequences of his son's entanglement in an illegal money-laundering operation.

At its core, the film presents a familial drama woven with social commentary. The plot explores Chellaiyah's efforts to bring his son back to a path grounded in integrity and tradition.
