Rajinikanth's Coolie Update: The makers of Coolie, the highly anticipated Tamil action thriller starring Superstar Rajinikanth and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, have teased an exciting reveal scheduled for tomorrow at 11 AM. Sun Pictures, the film's production house, shared a poster featuring a woman in a striking red dress mid-dance, with her face intentionally concealed. The post, captioned 'Revealing Tomorrow 11 AM! #Coolie,' has sparked speculation that the dancing woman could be actress Pooja Hegde.

Coolie Production and Release Details

Originally announced in September 2023 as Thalaivar 171, the film was officially titled Coolie in April 2024. Principal photography began in July 2024, with major filming locations spanning Chennai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Jaipur, and Bangkok. Coolie is set for a grand worldwide release in 2025 in both standard and IMAX formats.

The first look poster of Coolie was unveiled on March 28, 2024, without any prior announcement. The film's teaser, released on April 22, officially revealed its title. On December 12, 2024, Rajinikanth's birthday, a 59-second glimpse featuring the song Chikitu Vibe was also released.

Coolie Cast And Crew

Coolie features a stellar ensemble cast led by superstar Rajinikanth as Deva, alongside Nagarjuna as Simon, Upendra as Kaleesha, Soubin Shahir as Dayal, and Sathyaraj as Rajasekar. Shruti Haasan plays Preethi, with Reba Monica John and Junior MGR also in key roles. Adding to the excitement, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is set to make a special cameo appearance in the film.

Coolie is directed and written by Lokesh Kanagaraj, with dialogues by Kanagaraj and Chandhru Anbazhagan. Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, the film features cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, adding to the film's high expectations.
